The FUNdamentals of swim and run
A program for athletes ages 8-12 looking to improve their swim and run skills, or young athletes looking for multi-sport skills to help develop their overall athleticism. This is a great program to complement other sports programs or expose you to the basics of triathlon. No swim experience required.
The Edmonton Triathon Academy's primary programs accommodate athletes aged 12-23 and are designed to be flexible to athletes commitment and competitive desires.
Intro to Tri - designed to sample the sport of triathlon, with an emphasis on gaining confidence in the skills of swim, bike, run while improving conditioning as an athlete.(program is ASSA compliant)
Development Squad - structured training committed to developing a holistic triathlete by enhancing technique, fitness, and competitive drive. Athletes in in the Development Squad typically have goals of racing.
Masters swim sessions are for those more mature and managing a busy work/ life balance! All sessions are coached under the watchful eye of Coach Glen, who will inspire you to bring the best out of yourself, whether training for your first Sprint Triathlon or first Ironman. This program now offers Saturday morning training, which includes Swim, Bike and Run!
Occasionally this crew indulges in a little post-swim breakfast to keep the balance.
The Kinsmen bike storage allows athletes to keep their bikes in a secure room at the Kinsmen fieldhouse. Storage is available through the winter schedule -- finishing in April.
